Business Situation:
Client had 20 year-old custom application systems outsourced to a third party. They experienced stability problems with their systems and business growth was hindered by old technology and the lack of functionality.
Project Summary:
After understanding the business direction and needs, we completed a business application assessment. We identified the need for a new enterprise application system to significantly reduce their costs and improve functionality. We developed the business case for action which was used to obtain management and board approval for a multi-million dollar IT investment. We evaluated vendors and assisted with the selection of SAP software, Deloitte as an implementation partner, and SAP as a hosting provider.
Results:
The project was implemented on schedule and on budget, delivering the benefits identified in the business case.
