Client desired assistance with developing a web strategy to best meet the needs of the business. Various areas of the business had differing viewpoints on how they should use the web and how to go about putting their catalog on the web.
Project Summary:
Began with development of a web strategy. Analyzed the catalog business, competitive situation, high-level options, and developed an RFP. Assisted with the selection of e-commerce software on a software-as-a-service platform. Selected Acquity Blue Martini/Escalate Retail and negotiated the SaaS and software contracts.
Results:
Company began offering their customized products through through an online web storefront. Exponentially increased customer support capacity by re-directing a portion of orders to web self-service.
